The customer, who came to receive the goods, was deeply moved by the sight of the tired and dirty boss and employees, and became Huatong ‘s first long-term partner. After gaining recognition in the domestic market, Huatong leveraged the high cost-effectiveness of Chinese manufacturing and, following the global shift of manufacturing from East to West, gradually expanded overseas. However, after 2000, changes in the international economy and market led to an increase in export restrictions on domestic products, and the time for land and sea transportation of exported goods became increasingly extended, causing delays in overseas orders within the industry. Huatong?adhering to its founding principle of “integrity”. decisively replaced land and sea transportation with the more costly but time-efficient air transport, choosing to incur losses to ensure timely delivery.
Through relentless efforts, Huatong consistently provided high-quality and competitively priced products to overseas customers, and gradually established production bases in Korea, Africa, the Americas, and other regions. Over more than 30 years since its establishment, Huatong’ subsidiaries under the cable and energy sectors have each blossomed, rapidly finding their own development directions and flagship products. In response to the construction challenges of 10,000m?deep wells, building on its rich experience with the original large-scale injection head technology, it further successfully developed the world’s first vehicle-mounted 160K Coiled Tubing Unit (750 Type) at the beginning of 2023, repeatedly leading technological innovation in the industry. In terms of business model innovation, the company established a series of innovative business models, with consignment as a highlight, continuously optimizing supply chain layout and management models, achieving a strong breakthrough, and helping high-quality products gain a larger market share.
